John Lea

John founded Decksouth in 1998 with a single goal: to serve the Atlanta area with unmatched professionalism in the deck/porch building market. That commitment to excellence has led to award-winning projects and national recognition of Decksouth as an industry leader. Under John’s leadership, Decksouth has expanded to two locations added co-owner Mike Reasons, and earned a reputation for custom designs, quality workmanship and guaranteed satisfaction.

John earned his BS from the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga and lives in the Roswell area where he was raised.

Mike Reasons

Mike  joined Decksouth as a co-owner in 1998, bringing with him an extensive background in the building products industry and experience working with a leading deck manufacturer. He enjoys working with customers during the design and consultation process, utilizing his deep knowledge of the latest products to help homeowners select the right choice for their specific needs and transform their vision into a reality.

Originally from Nashville, TN and a graduate of Samford University, Mike lives in the Suwanee area with his wife and two children.
